A Social Distance Bridal Shower | Somerset, NJ

These are some different & difficult times we are all living. Covid-19 has affected everything about what we call ordinary. We have all have had to readjust and adapt. I myself had to reschedule pretty much my entire 2020 not only for my business but personally. But I am happy and grateful that was all that really impacted me. Since many people around the world have had such hard times fall on them. I spent months Quarantining (and still am) and those long days at home all I could think about was if I would still be able to do what I LOVE to do. That is photograph people and moments.

Once the Covid restrictions in NJ state were slightly lifted and small outdoor gathering were allowed, Liz’s sister reached out.   They asked me to capture this beautiful Social Distance Bridal Shower and that I follow all Covid regulations and pre-cautions. Which I happily did !

Liz’s Bridesmaids put together this beautiful Social Distance Bridal Shower. Their eye for detail was amazing ! The day started with a beautiful set up featuring gorgeous plants and backdrop right outside the home. Guests got to drive by and celebrate the bride to be and drop off their gifts. After the Drive thru the guest got to design dresses for the bride out of clay, and they were impressive. Some of those figures were amazing ! And like every other special moment in people’s life right now during covid a zoom call with guests that could not attend took place where they played games and chatted up the future bride and groom. This Social Distance Bridal Shower was full of laughter and smiles. Although you couldn’t see people’s smiles through their masks you could just tell they were smiling.
