American Airpower Museum | Farmingdale, NY
An Aviation Museum Engagement Session was a first for me. That is why, when bride-to-be Noheli approached me about shooting her engagement photos I was so excited. I love to jump on the opportunity to shoot in new locations and locations that aren’t too common. Noheli and Manny chose the American Airpower Museum in Long Island for their session. It was a location close to home for them and they wanted a location that would represent travel. After all they are having a destination wedding so an engagement session with planes was completely on brand for them.
Not only was I excited because I would be shooting in a new location, but also because Noheli happens to be the little sister of one of my long time college friends. In fact, I had shot her brother’s Engagement Session back in 2014. I had the pleasure of meeting Noheli before on a few occasions and she was absolutely one of the sweetest people I have met. And she was no different on the day of her and Manny’s Engagement Session. They were so nice and super excited to be at this location. They even brought their own props. Manny was super into everything the Museum had to offer. It is great to see a Groom be so excited about the location of the shoot.
Upon arrival at the American Airpower Museum we were provided a wonderful guide. A retired Vet that was very knowledgable and clearly loves what he does. He was very enthusiastic about showing us around and helping us in any way possible. From moving rails, cones and chains for us to get the shot he was readily available to do all he could for us. This was such a great experience shooting at the American Airpower Museum.
Below are just a few highlights from this Aviation Museum Engagement Session. I hope you all enjoy Noheli & Manny’s shoot as much as I enjoyed shooting and curating it for you all.
Wishing Noheli & Manny a wonderful Wedding in Mexico next year !!
