A Fall Galloping Hills Golf Course Wedding | Kenilworth, NJ
Leticia (Nikki) & Christopher’s Wedding Day at Galloping Hills Golf Course was such a delight to shoot. They are such a sweet, kind and joyful couple. From the moment that we met to to discuss the possibility of them booking, to the booking call, Engagement session and Wedding Day. Even to this day they are still so amazing to me. Some people may wonder why I love to rave about how kind and sweet my clients are. And the answer is simple, I didn’t always have such wonderful clients. When I started I had amazing couples but every year I would book someone I wasn’t an ideal fit for and them for me. I have had brides make me cry, yes cry or just be really rude throughout the entire process.
This is why when I have wonderful Brides/ Grooms like Nikki & Chris I just like to rave about them. I have learned to not take on every Wedding simply for the booking/money. I have learned to only take on clients that I vibe with and that my gut says “YES,YES,YES, BOOK THEM”. Nikki has been such a Cheerleader and I have really appreciated it. Couple’s like Nikki & Chris remind me why I love doing what I do.
Now enough about me and more about this Beautiful Fall Wedding at The Galloping Hills Golf Course in Kenilworth, NJ.
We started the day with the girls getting ready at Nikki and & Chris’ home and then heading to Galloping hills to shoot the rest of them getting ready. Nikki’s mom and Chris’ mom were part of the “Bride’s Squad”. They were there every second along with the bridesmaids to help Nikki. I absolutely loved this idea of fully including both moms in this part of the day. There was so much genuine love from everyone involved.
It was early November and the weather was just right (not too cold) for an outdoor Ceremony. Vows were said during golden hour. The glow of the sun shined on them illuminating them from behind just like their love was illuminating the day. Nikki & Chris’ Wedding was truly a pleasure to capture.
It was so hard for me to pick a handful of images, I think this is the most I have shared in a blog post. I just couldn’t decide especially on the Bride and Groom Portraits. I hope you all love reliving this Beautiful Special Day as much as I loved being a part of it.
So this moment was so hard for me to capture. Nikki had her Father-Daughter dance with her dad and her step-dad. I was raised my my Step-Father, I had never heard the song Nikki choose before. When I heard this song I was literally fighting back tears. I had recently lost my dad and that lost made me be even more grateful for having my step-dad. I have always appreciated him and just see him as my Dad. But in this season of my life it was amplified.
Btw the song they danced to was : “Step Father of the Bride”. Get ready to cry, just saying.
Gracias for stopping by !
