The Chauncey Hotel & Laurie House | Princeton, New Jersey
Michelle & Nick’s wedding day was just WOW ! I mean wow, wow, wow ! Not only was their wedding day BEAUTIFUL but Michelle and Nick are both such beautiful people inside and out. Their energy and joy throughout the wedding planning process and even after the wedding has been so contagious. They are the kind of people that make it beyond enjoyable to work for them. Making me truly inspired in the work I provided.
This amazing couple booked me right at the height of covid in 2020. I remember after a few months of not booking and having to cancel/ reschedule weddings, I was terrified what 2021 would be for me. Then Michelle and Nick found me and gave me a glimmer of hope. We hit it off right off the bat and once they booked we shot a GORGEOUS engagement session. Take a look HERE.
They were going for an Enchanted Forest/ Whimsical feel for not only their engagement session but their wedding day as well. I remember Michelle mentioning they would have lots of greens/plants but I was not ready for what I saw on their wedding day. It was so magical and freaking inspirational. The Chauncey Hotel and Laurie House in Princeton, NJ was the perfect venue.
As a photographer I thrived on details and genuine authentic people. And this Princeton New Jersey Wedding had all those. I had such a hard time narrowing down the photos for this post (there’s A LOT) . There were so many great and personal details. One example is the bride’s shoes which she designed and manufactured herself. She even incorporated her love for shoes and what she does into the wedding decor. I am not spoiling how, you would have to scroll to see.
Before I let you enjoy this joyful day, I just want to share one story from this day. When I arrived on this day to the bridal suite, Michelle was gathering her details for me to shoot. Michelle showed me two photo lockets, one for each friend of hers that sadly passed. She wanted to incorporate them into her special day. Then proceeded to hand me one for myself. She remembered that I had lost my Abuela earlier in the year and thought of me. It was so hard for me not to cry right then and there. Even Kimberly (my asst./sister) was holding back tears. In the mist of planning a wedding my bride took a moment and thought of me. I am forever thankful for the incredibly sweet gesture.
As you scroll through The Bregolis wedding day, I hope you enjoy their images as much as I do. Their love for one another just radiates through. The joy they shared with their loved ones on this day was beyond words. I truly loved every part of this very Enchanted Wedding Day.
This is perhaps one of my favorite ring shots, Michelle provided all these amazing details to help me compose this image.
Michelle works in the shoe manufacturing so there is no surprise that she designed her own wedding shoes !
Okay, what says ” I am a New York Groom” more than these fitteds.
