Sarah + Sean | Happy Day Farm Manalapan Township, NJ
A Sunflower Field Engagement Session is all that it sounds to be, fun, bright, cheerful and absolutely dreamy. I had been DYING to shoot a session in a field of sunflowers and every year I miss the season. When Sarah suggested shooting her and Sean’s Engagement photos in one, I was ecstatic. They found a location who’s season started a bit early (July) and even booked the field to be all ours on a Monday for the duration of their session. Happy Day Farm located in Manalapan Township, NJ was a great choice !
I was really looking forward to this session because Sarah is the sister to one of my 2021 Brides. What I didn’t realize is that they are TWINS ! I had just shot Lucia (Sarah’s sister) and her Fiancè’s session the month before. They raved about how sweet and great Sarah and Sean are, and they weren’t kidding. Sarah & Sean were so easy to work with, I mean yes Lucia and Michael could be a bit biased OBVIOUSLY lol. But this couple without a doubt just like the couple that referred them are such kind and genuine people. It has really been so sweet being part of the Wedding planning process with sisters.
The day of their shoot we arrived at Happy Day Farm excited to get to shoot in a Sunflower Field. None of us thought to take into consideration that a field of sunflowers meant, lots of busy bees. Just 5 minutes into shooting I got stung. If you have ever shot with me you know I am usually tripping or bumping into things so it is no surprise that something just had to happen to me. Dodging the Bees we made our way through the maze capturing both posed and candid shots. Sarah & Sean’s chemistry was undeniable and these images show just a preview of how much their love for each other radiated all around them.
I hope you enjoy this gorgeous session as much as I enjoyed shooting and curating it 💖
The thing about a Sunflower Field Engagement Session, you have to look out for these guys who are hard at work. Five minutes into our session and I got stung ! Yikes !
Gracias for stopping by !
