Cross Estate Gardens | Bernardsville, NJ

Cross Estate Gardens is a hidden little gem in Bernardsville, NJ. I visited this location for the first time when I shot Debbie and Frank. I almost missed it, that’s how hidden it is. This beautiful location in New Jersey is perfect for a garden engagement session and they don’t require a permit. Cross Estate Gardens simply requires you register your date/time and agree to their terms and conditions in order to shoot an Engagement Session. I will definitely be going back to shoot at this location.

Debbie chose Cross Estate Gardens for her and Frank’s Engagement session because she always wanted to visit. It is always a great idea to pick some place you never been for a session and then make a date out of it after. Typically, I suggest client’s to choose a place that they either frequent, have memories at or a place they want to go for their session. If it’s a location that means something to you then it makes it extra special. And if you choose a location that you have been wanting to check out then you get to create some fun new memories out of it.

Frank was bold in his choice of shirt for this session. I must say it worked well with the backdrop and definitely gave a pop of color to their photos. It also gave you the feeling of being out in a tropical location not just at a Jersey Garden.

This sweet couple was so much fun to shoot with. I can not wait for their December Wedding at Park Chateau. Looking forward to sharing their Wedding day with you all. In the meantime, enjoy their beautiful garden engagement session 💖
