Hoboken Engagement Session | Pier C

Mia & Rob’s Hoboken Engagement session was one I was long awaiting. They always book me to shoot their kids but they never get in front of the camera themselves. I finally got them in front of the camera ! When Mia said “Yes!” she texted me saying “Hope you are ready for me”. I was beyond excited to finally be able to call her a Scar Vita Bride. It always feel so special when clients are excited and happy to share with me big milestones. Mia is one of the sweetest people I have met and literally is a huge Cheerleader for me and Scar Vita. Always rooting me on and sending people my way. Her support is appreciated immensely. Seriously absolutely love her ! She had become a friend to me.

For their session they wanted to shoot at a location that had a city view but perhaps won’t be too congested. They decided on Hoboken, you can never go wrong with this area. We originally rescheduled due to rain and a few days before the new session date it snowed. Luckily we were still able to shoot. I mean Rob had the perfect shoes for the weather but if you are from New York, you know you DO NOT get your Tims wet or dirty lol.

We had such a blast shooting their Engagement Session. Rob is normally quiet the times I have shot their kids. It was great to see his personality shine through during this session. You can just see his love for Mia by the way he looks at her. Take a look at the photos below and you will know exactly what I mean. I am so grateful that they chose to have an engagement session even though scheduling was tight due to the having their wedding just a few weeks after. I was ready to shoot their zoom wedding but unfortunately got Covid and had to find and associate shooter to cover their big day on my behalf. So I am forever Thankful that I got capture their engagement session and I am looking forward to shooting some Bride & Groom Portraits for them this spring.
